Privacy Policy
Last updated June 25, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Cohva ("Cohva", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our coaching platform at cohva.com. By using Cohva, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information you provide when you register — your name, email address, and password.
Coaching data you and your clients enter — including training programs, workout logs, nutrition and macro/micronutrient entries, daily and weekly check-ins, body measurements, progress photos, blood-work values, and competition details. Some of this is health- and fitness-related information.
Payment information — processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; Stripe handles card data directly.
Usage and device data — basic technical information such as log data needed to operate and secure the service.
2. How we use information
To provide and operate the platform, sync entitlements, and deliver the features you use; to communicate with you (for example, account verification and invitations); to process subscriptions; and to maintain the security and integrity of the service.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use client health and fitness data for advertising.
3. Service providers
We share information only with service providers who help us run Cohva, under agreements that limit their use of it: Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Cloudflare R2 (progress-photo storage), and our hosting providers (Railway and Vercel).
4. Data retention
We keep account and coaching data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your data as described below; we may retain limited records where required for legal, security, or accounting reasons.
5. Your rights
You may access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal information. Coaches control the client records they create; clients may contact their coach or us regarding their data. To make a request, email us at hello@cohva.com.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures — encrypted transport, hashed passwords, and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and respond to issues promptly.
7. Children
Cohva is intended for use by coaches and their adult clients. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Coaches are responsible for obtaining any required consent before entering a client's information.
8. International transfers
We operate in the United States, and your information may be processed there. By using Cohva you consent to processing in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes.
10. Contact
